Michael Wood = genius

Michael Wood’s new series began on BBC2 on Friday, entitled the “Great British Story” the  first programme focused on how Britain developed from the Roman age to the end of the Dark Ages. If you missed it catch it on iPlayer as it was brilliant.

The best bit of the programme was where Wood gave primary sources to people from the same region of the author of the source. To hear people from Teeside reading Roman letters is truly fab television. Question is how can I steal some of these ideas and put them in the classroom?
